And last Saturday I actually attended a MCD Birthday Party for the very 1st time !!

So whose birthday was it ? It was Ah Dum's younger elder brother's 28th Birthday !!







Young at heart to hold party @ MCD but still coming with a man's wish. Birthday boyMan's wish was "Stock Market STI hit 3000 points !! " ( I think, I'm not too much a stock person)

It's actually quite a good deal, as it goes by number of pax and decoration and door gifts are included. And it even comes with an optional (optional means you have to pay more) not-very-nice-and-in-fact-tasteless-cake. !



And it's really the OMG kinda cake..

The whole event was quite interesting with MCD food and stuff but the only thing I have to give a thumbs down for is the party planner. I guess it's just me for being in the party/events industry for the X years, they can't entertain for nuts. They play very boring games and they just joke and and.... many more. I guess it's the pay peanut get monkey thing ?

Anyway the best part of the whole party was actually -

Nope, we did not get Sentosa cove, all we got was some instant win. boohoohooo..

The Wedding Emcee

Smith Leong - Talking Since 1986 ( I guess ). I have been a Emcee for several events like family day - telematches, road show, voice over but this is the time round my dear friend entrust me with their big day.

I actually did once back then for my very own brother but I was given a script and I was really nervous and was very very green back then. I gave myself a 2/10.

An Kian and Pandora tie the knot on this beautiful Sunday afternoon at Singapore Marriott Hotel on 18th October. Mr.Smith was not just the wedding planner but also the wedding host.

It's no convention ladies please raise and ladies please get seated style of wedding, there was games and laughter for all.

Singapore Slingers !

After being a basket ball fan for like "n" years, I finally get to watch a LIVE ! basketball game.

Well it's no NBA but it's ABL and it's pretty exciting actually !

Singapore Slingers welcome the Satria Muda Britama - Indonesia.( I know the team name is like a mouthful)

no super shuttle speed too !



The match was pretty exciting to watch although Slingers took the early lead and pull the score pretty far apart in early half.





The kids from the half time show. They were really good ! Other than our cheer leaders we had this group of kids coming in to perform and they go as young as 6 years old. They even gave away TV, Wii and stuff during the halftime show !

I was pretty impressed with the speed the Slingers was playing at, the pace was good, very fast on both defense and offense but they do not take fast breaks points which I do not really understand. They played it slow and lots of shooting. Slingers' shooting % was pretty good and I felt both #10 Wei Jian and #21 Marcus played pretty well. They look tiny on the court but they were like 180cm and 193cm respectively.

Slingers fans had a good time boo-ing at #8 of Satria - Harman Alexander from Oregon USA. He is very aggressive but he do not play as a team and he plays very rough imo. And we were like boo-ing at all his FT and comments like " Eh Don't Cry ah ! " came out of my mouth when he was arguing with the referee at different points of the game.

The referee ain't the best I must say, there was a few occasions of traveling, pushing and illegal screen but it was all uncalled. It's never easy to be a good referee but a good game seriously need very good referee ! And there was one 8sec half court call at the 7th secs, we had a fun time boo-ing him ! haha

But the major turn off was the commentator i guess, being expose to NBA commentator he is like no where close to a commentator, if i'm not wrong he look like a showhost from the IT show.. *slapforehead

Anyway, Slinger took the game without any sweat.



24 points win ! Mr. Botak Jones promise us on 1% discount for every point slinger win over the satria and being a man of his words, he gave us a 20% discount and yes that was my dinner ! yum yum !

Happy Halloween 2009

Halloween has always been an event of the year for me. After being a "professional" mascot from Santa Claus to Jason from Friday the 13th to God Of Fortune for various events, mascotting is more than just wearing costume and walking around, it is about how we protrait the image of the certain character.

We didn't make it to Zouk this year as the peeps felt that the que is too much a trouble and neither did we go to any other clubs, we decided to hit the heart landers instead.

We were all ready to go and terrorise the heartlanders of Tampines !!

1st Stop - Frolick @ Tampines 1 !! The girls were so Cute and Pretty - not my main point happy and excited to see us when we went near the shop as they were giving away free cup B yogurt for the dressed up !





And guess who I bump into ?



Tse Yang !! Surprise he actualy recongise me lor.. lolx ~

Many peeps regardless of young or old, male or female were pretty shock,happy,flabbergasted,glad,surprise to see the whole group of us parading in this quite little heartland area of Tampines.

Next Stop - Swensen's @ Tampines Mall for Dindin

And there were like this group of peeps who took photo with us, and they took like 5 or 6 pictures but they took almost like forever !

And even the Swensens' staff took some pictures with us, tagline " I am so dying to go swensens' "



We finish off the party by doing a final parade from Tampines Mall's Starbucks to Century Square's Coffee Bean and then to Macdonalds' beside CPF Tampines. The faces of Tampines was priceless. Some were like giggling and chatting about talking pictures with us but none was daring enough to do it. Welcome to Singapore !

It was really fun but I just wish we went to places with even more people or more people would dare to come up and interact with us !!

Mr.Smith, I hope that the frolick girls still recongise us the next time we visit.. = P

Cavaliers 91 - Raptors 101

The Cavaliers fall short to Raptors despite a triple double effort from the"king".. What happen Cav ?? You guys had the best season in franchise last season and are you guys going for the worst this season ? I know we are still early but this is no joke ! starting the season on the rough side with 2 lost.

It's a poor shooting night for the cav finish at 34.9% FG. Very disappointing, no offense to the Real Shaq Fans ( He is one of the NBA history I'm sure for his PAST records), but look at what happen to SUNS last season, will the curse lurk around and will the Cavs make it to the playoffs.. = P

The highlights



Bobcats 59 - Celtics 92

This is the match where only the celtics fans will catch cause we know Bobcats can't win but neither did I expect them to come short by that much.

I must give credit that the bobcats did a good 1st half until when 3Q comes in where the gave away a 16-0 run to the celtics. Celtics just cruise pass this game.

Chandler played a good 20mins and score nothing..

59 pts was the result of a 31% FG..



Rockets 108 - Warriors 107



What ? I just thought Warriors should take this and a 1 point win for the rockets was pure luck !
